Who we are

The New Economic Justice Organizing Project is the strategic next step of the economic justice work of Step Up Louisiana, carrying forward the economic justice work and the Organizer in Training (OIT) program with 13 staff and a core group of members to be more vigorous in our issue area, expand statewide, and train thousands of organizers capable of transforming the economy of Louisiana. We will relaunch in summer 2026.
